I am a 26 year old, substitute teacher for the Salinas school distrrict. I am multi-talented at mutli-tasking. I just moved away from home for the second time in my life. I hope to one day have the opportunity to go overseas to either China, Thailand, or Japan and work there teaching English for about six months to a year. Currently, I am volunteering some of my time at a local elementary school as a mentor and English tutor.

I am a college-graduate of CSU- Sacramento, and studied Intercultural and International Communications. I hope to use my degree in a non-profit or educational setting. I enjoyed learning about different cultures and taking classes to learn specifically about Southeast Asian countries and to build up knowledge on key differences between the United States.

I am a hard-working, reliable, and compassionate person. I am passionate about helping others learn to read, and about volunteering at different non-profit organizations. I am also a Christian, and my faith is very important to me and has had a marked influence on who I am today.

I am also interested in music, since it has been a big part of my life and family. I may not be the most talented musician in my family, but I enjoy playing the piano and guitar whenever I get the chance. KK, dunno what I'm doing with my life... but I do know I wanna live. I was supposed to move to Ventura this fall.. but changed my plans... Was postponed a year... but I think I changed my mind.... I think I'm going to travel next year... yep...

Need to register at Hartnell next semester... mainly for insurance... >_> and also when I figure out what I want to do... I'll hopefully have my GEd outta the way...

For fun... always wanting to do shit... but usually can't figure out what to do... me and my buddies usually hang out and play rockband...'

in my defense and for the record... I only feel like I'd be lying to choose 'never' for smoking and drugs.... if it was 'no' I'd choose that...

smoked Salvia 7 times... first 3 times were pretty great... had some interesting.... visions.... last 4 were pretty darn depressing... I'd be removed from the universe... and I'd see the universe and what not as I knew it in front of me... and it'd end ... without me... so yeah stopped that...

And being the curious guy I am, I tried weed once... it was pretty great for 5 minutes... then I was stuck for like 2-3 hours in some kind of confusing mental hell(I kept thinking things... and my thoughts would change fromt hing to thing and I couldnt concentrate) anyway hated that feeling and yeah I don't really 'do' drugs... I've tried a couple and... found that yeah... don't really care for them (Though I would recommend trying salvia at least once)

as for smoking... I smoke electronic cigarettes... so no 2nd hand smoke, 1000's of toxic chems, or smell... and yeah basically it's just for looks.... and smoke rings(more like vapor rings) the ones I ordered have no nicotine in them...

How do your describe yourself? I am Me. I am a person who takes his life seriously yet with a grain of salt and a pinch of humor. I Love to work, I love my friends and I truly love to work with my friends. I Love to travel, and it is always better to visit with or to friends. Got back not too long ago from my exodus in Nebraska. Mainly went to college there and worked for a bit to pay off the student loans. Happy to be back, mainly because you can drive away from the snow. (not having to scrap snow off your car is sooo nice....) It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do with my career, at first it was IT, but I found it rather stagnant after awhile, so I turned to look at Law. I find the interaction between technology and law quite interesting, so I'm going to try and pursue that via intellectual property law. Hopefully I'll get into the schools I want...

I find myself inclined towards humor, be it an obscure reference to family guy or to Monty Python's Holy Grail. However I have the ability to take things serious as need be. I'm also inclined towards learning when there is time, from perusing www.dictionary.com, to reading the Economist (I find it gives me a better understanding of the interactions between nations, in addition to the effects of the current economic recession.) I find peoples views interesting, so I might try and pick your brain...literally! ZING!....no not really.

My wife and I are moving to Salinas this summer where she will be teaching high school math. I spent four years working for Blizzard Entertainment, but am currently unemployed. The plan for our marriage has always been that one of us would quit our job to stay home and take care of kids when the time came, but my wife lost her job due to budget cuts in our old location, and she loves teaching more than I can imagine loving any job, or possibly anything else. Beyond that Blizzard kept asking me to work holidays, and we were both sick of it. So I quit before the kids came (which we are still struggling with), and I have a lot of free time now that I'm looking to fill. In the past I've been very introverted, playing video games, and painting miniatures, and reading books, and other quiet things. Also we obviously have dogs. Gabriel will be three on July 14th, he's a siberian husky. My wife also had a dog before we met, Ruby Red is a German Shepherd who will be 12 this year, which is getting on in years for a German Shepherd, but she's a great big teddy bear, and we love her to pieces.

I have to put world of warcraft down as interest since I used to work there. i also like strategy games, and I'd like to get back in mountain biking, rock climbing, and aikido but they are past interests and hopefully future interests rather than current.

I'm an environmental nut who recycles and doesn't litter. I have an energetic 2 year old "baby" black lab/boxer/Austrailian shepherd mix that I take for 1 to 2 hour daily walks. I'm mostly an at home person, but I do like to go out due to "cabin fever".

Not that this is that important, but I've noticed that astrology does seem to work in mysterious ways. Personally with me being an earth sign, air signs aquarius, gemini, libra and earth signs capricorn, taurus, virgo seem to agree with me more. With water signs pisces, cancer, scorpio and fire signs aries, leo, sagittarius, coming in 3rd and 4th. There are exceptions of course because there are other indicators like rising sign and moon sign that shape a person's character. Anyway this is not that important.
